Understanding Our Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms By creating an account, browsing the Site, or completing any booking or transaction on VolleyLab Academy Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

2. Account Registration, Security, & Youth Eligibility

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in British Columbia, Canada) to create an account, purchase subscriptions, or book training sessions.

• Minors: Athletes under 18 years old ("Minors") may only participate in VolleyLab Academy Inc. programs if an account is created and managed by their parent or legal guardian.

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Parent & Legal Guardian Authorization By enrolling a Minor in any VolleyLab Academy Inc. training session, camp, clinic, or digital program:

• Authority: You certify that you are the legal parent or legal guardian of the Minor participant and possess full legal authority to execute this agreement on their behalf.

• Consent to Participate: You grant permission for the Minor to participate in all physical, athletic, and instructional activities conducted by VolleyLab Academy Inc.

• Medical Authorization: In the event of an emergency, injury, or sudden illness during a session where you are not present, you authorize VolleyLab Academy Inc. staff, coaches, and representatives to seek emergency medical treatment for the Minor as deemed necessary. You accept full financial responsibility for any medical costs incurred.

4. Athletic Waiver & Release of Liability for Minors Volleyball training involves rapid movements, jumping, diving, and physical contact, which carry inherent risks of injury (including sprains, fractures, concussions, or serious bodily injury).

• Assumption of Risk: On behalf of yourself and the Minor participant, you voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with participation in VolleyLab Academy Inc. programs.

• Waiver & Release: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and hold harmless VolleyLab Academy Inc., its owners, coaches, employees, facility operators, and agents from any claims, liability, loss, or damages for personal injury, property damage, or medical expenses arising out of or connected to the Minor’s participation in VolleyLab Academy Inc. activities or use of the Site’s training content.

5. Online Bookings, Direct Payments, & Embedded Platforms

• Direct Payments: Payments processed directly through the Site are handled by secure payment gateways. By submitting billing details, you authorize VolleyLab Academy Inc. to charge the specified amount for session bookings, camps, or subscriptions.

• Third-Party Platforms: For certain scheduling or class management, the Site may integrate or redirect to third-party providers (such as Mindbody, Upper Hand, or Stripe). Your interactions with these tools are governed by their respective terms. VolleyLab Academy Inc. is not liable for technical glitches or payment errors occurring on third-party domains.

• Refunds & Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 24 hours prior to a scheduled session receive a full account credit or refund. Late cancellations or no-shows forfeit the full session fee.

6. Media Release for Minors By enrolling a Minor in VolleyLab Academy Inc. sessions, you grant VolleyLab Academy Inc. the right to take photos and video recordings of training activities for instructional, promotional, and marketing purposes on our website and social channels. If you wish to opt out of media usage for your child, you must submit a written request to VolleyLab Academy Inc. prior to the start of the session.

7. Digital Content & Intellectual Property

• All training videos, drill diagrams, articles, logos, and graphics hosted on the Site are the exclusive property of VolleyLab Academy Inc.

• Content is licensed strictly for personal, non-commercial training use. You may not record, re-upload, sell, or publicly share proprietary coaching materials.

8. User Conduct & Termination You agree not to use the Site for spamming, scraping data, attempting unauthorized access to user accounts, or harassing staff or other users. VolleyLab Academy Inc. reserves the right to immediately terminate website access or cancel bookings without refund for violations of this policy.

9. Limitation of Liability & Warranties The Site and services are provided "as is." VolleyLab Academy Inc. disclaims all warranties regarding site uptime or uninterrupted booking services and shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
